Boiler tubes are used in heat exchanging equipment, where heat is transmitted from one medium to another. The tubes are made of carbon, low-alloy steels, which carry loads at high temperatures and pressures. They are used in power engineering equipment such as: boilers, heaters, furnaces, preheaters, exchangers.
The tubes are manufactured with diameters of from 21.3 to 660 mm, wall thickness of up to 100 mm for hot rolled tubes and with diameters of from 10.2 to 108 mm and wall thickness of up 12.5 mm for cold-drawn tubes. The tubes are manufactured with TC 1 tests (1st degree of requirements) and TC2 tests (3rd degree of requirements) according to PN-EN10216-2.
